As the NSFW Editor at Autostraddle, Carolyn wrote, edited, and directed queer sex and relationship content from 2013 to 2018. (She was also the Literary Editor.) In 2015 she conducted the Ultimate Lesbian Sex Survey, a survey of queer women and anyone who identifies with that experience, which is one of the largest of its kind. She stepped down as an editor in July 2018 to focus on other projects.
As a scholarly copy editor, Carolyn makes academic writing accessible and elegant. Here are a few books she’s copy edited.
Carolyn grew up in Toronto and has a BA in English literature and political science from McGill University. In 2015, she immigrated from Montreal to Los Angeles. She’s into the palm trees.
