In addition to reading books, it seems you can wear them as jewelery: Betty Pepper, a UK jewelery designer, makes items out of the pages of old books.
According to her website,

It’s almost like wearing t-shirts with slogans that you can only see under black light. Really, really expensive t-shirts.
